She had stolen the Amethyst of Clarity, and it appeared, from the noises behind her, that it’s disappearance had been noticed already. She rounded one final curve, the corridor broadening before her and dead ending. “No!” she screamed. “It’s not possible…not like this.” She looked around, frantically hoping to find some way to escape.
